Our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center has been state licensed and Medicare certified since 1985. Our doctors owned Michigan’s first FDA approved Excimer laser for the correction of Myopia (LASIK). Experienced Surgeons
Metropolitan Eye Center surgeons, are among the most experienced and well trained in surgical and laser vision correction procedures. All of our surgeons are board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
Dedicated Surgery Center
Our Outpatient Surgery Center is designed specifically for the patients’ convenience and comfort. Most of our patients have their cataract surgery performed right here in our facility. We have a fully trained team of Registered Nurses and Technical staff who assist our surgeons in the Operating Room.
Our laser suite is specially designed for laser vision correction. The laser center is constantly monitored to maintain strict humidity and temperature levels, which are imperative for the equipment to work properly.
